Conduent strives to improve our social responsibility by making a difference through the work we deliver for our clients. Our efforts align with five of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Good Health and Well-being, Decent Work and Economic Growth and Sustainable Cities and Communities. Our ongoing focus is to drive culture, professional development and positive impacts that foster better outcomes for our associates, communities, clients, and the millions of people who count on them.

Key social focus areas

Diversity and inclusion (D&I)

Diverse experiences, perspectives and backgrounds lead to better ideas, better outcomes and a better world for our associates, clients and communities. We are committed to ensuring a comfortable and accepting work environment and sourcing top diverse talent. In 2021, we established a D&I index as part of our associate experience survey with 73.5% of associates indicating that they feel Conduent fosters an inclusive environment. We also extend our D&I commitment to our supplier base and actively seek certified diverse suppliers beyond our in-house operations.

Giving back in our local communities

Since 2019, Conduent associates around the world have participated in over 61,000 hours of volunteer efforts to help those in need, including food drives, community events and responding to natural disasters. Conduent offers solutions that deliver payment of benefits such as WIC (Women, Infants, and Children), TANF (Temporary Assistance to Needy Families) and SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) that are essential to supporting the goal of “Zero Hunger.” Further, the Conduent Foundation makes donations to support and extend our ongoing volunteerism program –– ConduentCares.
