Key ESG initiatives

Protecting our planet

We’re committed to focusing our efforts to protect our planet in areas that are paramount to our business and operations. These include addressing climate change through greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions management and reduction, investing in energy efficiency, e-waste and other recycling, advancing clean technology and reducing the environmental impact for our clients and communities throughout every interaction. In both our solutions and operations, these efforts align with external frameworks such as the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), both of which are now governed by the International Sustainability Standards Board, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We also file the Climate Change Questionnaire with the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) and respond to the EcoVadis rating survey.

Supporting our people, communities and mission-critical outcomes for clients

We believe our people and communities are at the core of our success. We operate as one team with one mission, and together, we can make a difference in millions of lives each day. Through both our business solutions and people management efforts, such as associate engagement and diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I), as well as in our community engagement, we seek to promote social justice and equity across every interaction that we support.

Responsibly governing our business

Governance starts at the highest level of our company. We strive to be a role model in ethical behavior and business practices, managing risk and nurturing a culture of integrity, accountability and transparency. This is enforced through our Sustainability Steering Committee, Ethics Program, Code of Business Conduct, Enterprise Risk Management function and Board of Directors’ governance framework.

Making progress through action

Through focused effort, greater resource allocation and alignment with our associates, suppliers, community, clients and shareholders, we continue to make significant progress on our Sustainability initiatives.
