Walter Frye

Walt works across the organization to develop and execute Conduent’s global environmental, social and governance (ESG) and diversity and inclusion (D&I) strategies. He helps advance our agenda to build an inclusive culture where every associate is empowered to deliver their best and to make a positive impact in the communities where we live and work. He chairs our Global D&I Council and acts as our voice for ESG and D&I at Conduent with associates, partners, and clients.

Walt has more than 30 years of leadership experience in driving innovation as well as business and cultural change for enterprises, government, communities and early-stage companies. Prior to joining Conduent, Walt led a private-public partnership to establish an inclusive entrepreneurship ecosystem in Charlotte, NC and founded a consultancy with a similar mission. His corporate experiences include leading business operations, technology, product development, risk management, sales and project, portfolio and innovation management within financial services and technology companies including Merrill Lynch, Bank of America, Ally Financial and Fiserv.

Walt graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and is a decorated veteran, with over ten years of military service. Walt earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and holds a certification in FinTech from MIT. Walt serves as an advisor to non-profits focused on economic equity, entrepreneurship and innovation and is an active angel investor.
