Since the conclusion of his second mayoral term, he has served as a member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council, as chairman of the Airbnb Mayor’s Advisory Council, as the inaugural David N. Dinkins Professor of Professional Practice in Urban and Public Policy at Columbia University and in various other advisory, academic and media commentary positions consistent with his longstanding commitment to public policy, government and civic life. Prior to entering politics, Mr. Nutter held various roles of increasing responsibility for the financial services firm Pryor, Counts & Co.
