As Chief Compliance Officer, Brian Clayton has global responsibility for planning, implementing, and monitoring a comprehensive corporate compliance program for Conduent’s data, InfoSec and Contracts. In that capacity, he oversees policies and procedures to instill and maintain a culture of compliance, including global compliance training, personnel and committees, investigation and resolution of compliance matters. Brian also works with relevant business leaders to ensure that Conduent’s contractual obligations are met, and the benefits of its contracts are realized.

Since joining the company in 2003, Brian has continued to take on roles with increasing responsibility. Prior to this role, he served as the Associate General Counsel, with responsibility to provide legal counsel to Conduent’s Commercial business sectors, which included direct oversight of contracts within the commercial customers. Brian has also served as Conduent’s Chief Privacy Officer since Conduent became an independent company and, in that capacity, oversees companywide compliance with laws and regulations relating to privacy and data security.

Brian has a J.D. from New York Law School and a Bachelor of Science degree from Nova Southeastern University. He also holds a CIPP/US certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (“IAPP”) and is a member of the IAPP’s Publications Advisory Board.
