Date: June 13 – 17, 2021
Location: Conduent’s Virtual Booth
The CSTE Annual Conference is a unique gathering of applied public health epidemiologists and practitioners from across the U.S. and its territories. Attendees meet to share knowledge, best practices, current trends and professional challenges in the field. Recent public health emergencies, such as the global COVID-19 pandemic and the U.S. opioid addiction crisis, have heightened public awareness of the important role of epidemiologists in fighting both infectious and non-infectious diseases.
Conduent is a proud sponsor of CSTE 2021 and continue to support CSTE’s continued efforts to strengthen the field of applied epidemiology through educational and mentoring opportunities, standards development, systems modernization, and advocacy.

Maven® – Beyond the Human Species
Learn how our disease surveillance tool, Maven, can track non-human data of public health importance, using examples of animal rabies cases and non-human arboviral data. This includes tracking rabies infections in animals, virus variants, public reporting of rabid animals, and also how that data can be linked to human rabies cases and more.
Pamela Schwartz is the Director of Public Health Consulting at Conduent Public Health Solutions. She has more than 15 years of experience in public health informatics, working in immunization information systems, disease surveillance systems, and prescription drug monitoring programs in corporate and government environments.
