Jing Zhou’s main research interests include predictive and prescriptive analytics with a focus on healthcare and clinical informatics. Jing has been innovating and applying state of the art statistical modeling, machine learning and deep learning methods for healthcare problems such as event prediction, temporal and spatial analysis, disease modeling, risk analysis, anomaly detection, financial analysis, and intervention recommendation. He has led teams to contribute to end to end analytics solution development in multiple projects for healthcare clients such as governments, providers, and payers.
Dr. Zhou received his Ph.D. degree in Physics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and earned a B.S. degree in Physics from Tsinghua University in China. He holds 20+ issued patents and has 10+ patents pending. He has published papers at conferences and in top journals, including Science.
